Rob Page is FAW's number target to be under 21 (and intermediate age group team) manager.

Hes currently first team coach under Gary Brazil and Superjack at Forest since his sacking at Northampton last month.

Page was apparently interviewed for the Town job last time around, which is not surprising, but my brother-in-law swears blind he saw the interview taking place in a gym in Sheffield (don't know which bit) which seems odd.
These go to eleven.

nice to see the club also wish Derek well in his future endeavours, maybe Waterford have broken a non-existent press embargo.

The article mentions Estonia international Sander Puri, his name rings a bell...Have we had him on trial before?

Eh? I thought he was one for the future? It's a real pity he never got chance to at least show what he could do here. Any opinions from those who watched Daly in the reserves?

He was highly thought of by a number of professional football people I spoke to. He was severely hampered having to play at left back due to our two previous incumbants failing to sign a full back reserve. So, whenever Daly trotted out for the reserves they put him at LB and he simply wasn't one, he was a left sided winger.

Yep. I have, having watched him for 2 seasons.

Lively, aggressive, very left sided player who for some reason, like Chapman and Maguire, have never had a good opportunity drop in their lap.
The last time he played for the stiffs he smacked a low crisp first timer into the far corner from the left hand edge of the area and it got me wondering how long it is since I saw that happen, left or right. He's been playing against Cat 1 youngsters (like Brown) and definitely is no worse.

I can offer 4 reasons why he's been sold.
1. we have a sell on (not forgetting commission).
2. CT (and it can only be him) must think that Dion is a better long term bet. He might be right.
3. Young Charlie Wakefield is a similar player and they've soon got to make a decision on him.
4. He is homesick.

Let's hope this frees up money to allow Caldwell to bring in another playmaker free agent who can support/replace Gardner. We need a miracle signing.

DV, talking of our youngsters, Joe Rowley has been mentioned a lot on the club's website. Is he as good as the media team hint?

Joe Rowley is very good. He didn't have one of his best games on Tuesday but he was still good. Me and my mate have been trying to think who he is most like, just by way of trying to describe him. He is very quick of brain and body, very good link player, always gets his body in the right position to do the next thing when he's about to receive the ball, and scores the odd goal. He's average height and slim. My best description is like Danny Whitaker but quicker. My mate's mate reckons Phil Bonnyman which is good, but he's not that size. I personally think that Joe, Lynam, and Wakefield will be offered summat but I've been wrong before. Thinking on, I'm not even certain who are first years and who are second years so that statement is probably a bit unfair.

According to the club website Charlie Wakefield is a first year youth team player so no decision needs to be made on him just yet.

Ex title winner and brown envelope receiver (allegedly) a portly looking Ryan Williams was marshaling the centre circle while his side Barton Town Old Boys crashed 5-0 at Staveley.
He did show the occasional class though.

Saw him play for Scarborough a couple of years ago- didn't do too much except for a shout of "Ryan's" so high-pitched it startled the local canine population.

Which title did he win?

It wasn't bantamweight!

Mark Randall feels he was treated unfairly by Westley.

I played for some awful local football sides in my day, but "having energy to run around" would not usually be classed as a step forward in any of them!

I guess non-tackling midfielders and Westley probably don't mix that well.
