I met the guy who did the scouting and recommendations for cfc in Northampton the season we went down (2007?) Was telling me and a mate he was a champ manager scout and wanted to rate folan higher but because of the stature of the club they wasn't able to make him better. Debolla must have been his star player for that edition

Did/do you live in Northampton and have/had the long hair? If so then yes it was you. I used to love that game. Too many hours wasted on it before it got too detailed then I lost interest

Edit, dunno why I replied to my self, meant for denny

Chesterfield were level in the 51st minute when Caleb Folan s flick found Mark Debolla who drilled the ball into the corner of James Spencer s net.

County's response was to set up camp in Chesterfield s half for the rest of the game, but the closest they came to equalising was when Chris Armstrong deflected Singh's shot past the post.

In the 81st minute the home supporters were stunned when Mark Allott produced a fantastic shot on the turn, beating Spencer from 30 yards into the top of the County net.

Coincidentally, the County manager was Chris Turner too I believe!

Pretty sure Kevan Hurst played for Stockport that night, too.

We were effectively in the same stand at Stockport fans, went in the same turnstiles and we're shepherded past the home fans in to the far end of the wing stand.

That might be me.
I'm still doing it. With the numbers that come out yesterday, The finances may be wrong this year!
Debolla's numbers for that came from his parent club. Leeds? I did get to chop him down to size after I had him in my file.
folan, and gnando were difficult to work into the scheme. Quick and tall forwards use up a lot of points with their physical attributes.
Before I did it, it was Aspireite and before him it was Bob as in the name of this board, in an old version of the game they were included in the game as a couple of really highly rated scouts.

I thought de Bolla joined us from Charlton?!

Think you were about right with Armand, his physicals were good, technicals not too bad but his mentals were hilarious
