I am giving them a chance to sort it, and have chosen to do it here. I have contacted individuals at the club in the past (Chris Turner and the previous stadium manager) and didn't even receive a reply.

The fact I have to justify this to you is rather strange.

The club don't do emails I don't think?
Never had a reply ever from them

Same here, but some seem to have missed that point.

There's an issue that's really getting under my skin. (Although I know I'm not the only one).

There is a short access pathway from the Tesco car park to the South East side of the ground. There are 2 problems here, the first is that neither of the curbs are dropped, which prevents a challenge to wheelchair users.

The second problem is that the area at the stadium side of the pathway is used as a car parking space, therefore making it impossible to get by with a wheelchair.

The reason for putting this here is that in my experience things like this are more likely to be resolved if aired publicly.

Moondog, could you raise this with AC please and let me know his response?

Thank you

That path was put in when we (the fans) built the Memorial Garden. That area had become a rough and muddy cut-through. We had some paving (and goodwill) left and both the Club and Tesco were happy for it to be done as an unofficial path. It is "unofficial" as even then it was recognised that in a perfect project there would be drop curbs. The official access from Tescos come out directly behind the South Stand.

Thanks Pete, that clears things up a little. A shame my genuine enquiry caused some to get sarcastic and offensive. I guess that's the problem with a democracy........even the idiots are allowed an opinion.

Not sure whether I misunderstood, were you telling me the missing word, or were you referring to me?

I can only assume you are referring to the antagonist in this case.

I have received a reply from the club regarding the matter raised. AC informs me he is looking at the possibility of freeing up said parking space. This would then make life easier for those less fortunate than Jonnythespireite et al.

The final update and good news for all with mobility needs who use the path. AC has informed me this morning that the space will now remain empty on match days. He is also looking at the possibility of ramping the curb.

I've been very vocal about a number of things at the club over the past couple of seasons, but I have to say this has been dealt with incredibly efficiently by AC and CFC.
