There's an issue that's really getting under my skin. (Although I know I'm not the only one).

There is a short access pathway from the Tesco car park to the South East side of the ground. There are 2 problems here, the first is that neither of the curbs are dropped, which prevents a challenge to wheelchair users.

The second problem is that the area at the stadium side of the pathway is used as a car parking space, therefore making it impossible to get by with a wheelchair.

The reason for putting this here is that in my experience things like this are more likely to be resolved if aired publicly.

Moondog, could you raise this with AC please and let me know his response?

Thank you

Why not contact the club yourself?
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Why not read my post?

I will quote myself, '' The reason for putting this here is that in my experience things like this are more likely to be resolved if aired publicly".

Why not give the club a chance to sort it first?

I am giving them a chance to sort it, and have chosen to do it here. I have contacted individuals at the club in the past (Chris Turner and the previous stadium manager) and didn't even receive a reply.

The fact I have to justify this to you is rather strange.

You make a fair point about making issues public but I think seeing as the club have recently set up an email facility to report issues such as this, I suggest you give it a try, but by all means if you don't get a response let me know.

The email address to use is fans@chesterfield-fc.co.uk

Before each home game we go to Gregg's and then make our way to the ground via the pathway which links the two.

It's the pathway that I'm discussing, NOT Tesco's car park. If the club inform me that the situation needs to be raised with Tesco, then that's what I will do.

I'll use the e mail provided Moondog, thank you.

Is there meant to be an official access path between the two boundaries?

Have you considered changing your user name to Mr Unhappy? It seems more apt.
Why don't you walk around the car park to where the 'Apple' artwork is and enter the ground that way?

There is a purpose built path in situ, so one would expect it's there to move between the two areas.

Because I've got two sons, one registered blind and the other in a wheelchair, as well as my wife who is recovering from almost losing her life in a tragic accident recently.

Why don't you consider changing your username to presumptuous ****?

Let us know how you get on. I used it the other week and got a prompt and helpful response from Nick Johnson. I expect yours will be forwarded to the new stadium manager to respond

Not sure whether I misunderstood, were you telling me the missing word, or were you referring to me?
