If we get offers for anyone, they're gone. What contract was DD under? £150k fee?

Replacing him with a loan player isn't strengthening the club in the medium to long term.

Certainly need more than one loan in for even the short term, he was good LB cover. I think in a much better team he will be a very good signing for them.

Jheez I'll be honestly really sad to see DD go. I hope Flores isn't the LB replacement 😅.. We need a creative mid, he seems to fit the bill but now are in even more desperate need of a LB

By which time he'd be 24 so could leave on a free I presume? Ah well.

Unless Dion has said he wants to go to Wigan.I would definitely keep him .but it seems if any club come calling thay gone. who's this Jordan Flores never heard of him .we need experience players and at least a couple more.

Yep, I suppose we've offered him an extension but he's turned it down, for me he's much improved and will be sorry to see him go, wouldn't have said that a year ago

He sounds like he could be reasonably similar though perhaps better.

Dion off to a club in higher league, and looking for promotion, thats going to annoy the dion not good enough brigade, hope flores is what we looking for too.

Ariyibi is quickly slipping back down the league pyramid. Going higher doesn't equate success.

Strange that Cook was supposed to be after DD but he's not going to Wigan even though they are loaning us a player

Just get him off the wage bill, fee or no fee and bring in a proper left sided player. (Like Flores).

DD is not a left-back, was never a left-back or ever will be a left-back. Or even wing-back. He's barely even got to play in his favoured and my favoured position of him in midfield. As a left-footer in midfield he would add real balance to the team but alas we sell him when he's forced to play in his un-favoured position.

Get a proper left-back in who can get up and down the wings on loan until JBW is fit.

I suspect your idea of success is quite different from the vast majority of footballers, which is ££££ > ££.

So they languish in the reserves, or go out on loan. So what, the new car's just been delivered.

Will we get any money for Dion? what a player to lose, one of the few who is currently in good form.

Unlikely if he's coming to us - unless it's a properly nominal amount. There's not much wriggle room in our budget and the specialist left-back we signed on loan from Huddersfield for the season is out for the campaign - though we'll still have to contribute to his wage.

Might be one or two of our more deluded fans who think we're looking for promotion this season - given our budget and the shape/balance of the squad I reckon mid-table would be a decent season.

Interesting to see that Donohue splits opinion on here. If he does end up at Fratton Park it will be interesting to see how things pan out.

Ariyibi has been sent out on loan, to a league 1 club, forest supporting mate says it was due to his attitude problem (allegedly) more than ability.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

In today's paper Portsmouth have upped their bid to 200k
Obviously depends how true that is but I'd take that

DD is a decent player. Wouldn't say outstanding but I suppose 200k only buys potential nowadays. He's got a good attitude though which goes a long way and will be grateful for a second bite at the cherry. Good luck to him.
