Came on in 81st minute at Old Trafford last week. Last played in the Championship in Sept, one of six appearances this season. A part time Derby fan was saying the same to me last home game.

Now wonder the wastage rate amongst potential professionals is so high. Supporters create a world with no grasp of reality.

Imagine if you spent years training to be an architect and one day they said, we've got a couple a bits of scrap paper left over, there's fifteen minutes to spare, here's pencil see if you can whip us up a new town hall will you?

It's been the same throughout my life. I remember two young lads from local football going for a trial with The Owls. They got to take six penalties each at Ron Springett, nothing else. One scored six, the other five. Both were defenders, neither was a penalty-taker. Neither was asked back.
