If someone throws anywhere near £1m at us we absolutely cannot afford to turn it down.

Imagine the £££ we could get for Tommy if we had to sell up.

Evatt and co will remind him that we are on the up and they are hardly going places. Not worrying one bit because i don't think he's retarded enough.

He'd be daft not to go if the package suits all parties.

Every player has his price, and if only one year left on contract would be silly not to listen to serious bids, centre half is one area where we are strong

The sale would help with recruitment

To be honest I wouldn't give any consideration if Cooper wanted to stay, "sorry son we can't afford to keep you" is what realistically we need to say.

Sorry but players come and go and if you can sell some for decent cash along the way so be it, we need the money always.

Absolutely. A lot more money and playing in the Championship (where we may never play, who knows). No-brainer

Other club interested is Wolves. I would choose them over Leeds anyway. I expect a bidding war, both by clubs who like to splash the cash. £££££

If Cooper goes hopefully it is not last minute like Bowery with no time to bring players in

I thought it was more like 15% rather than 35%. If the money was right I think we should sell anyway, we could do with the benjamins and last season proved that Hird is more than capable of stepping in.

Has Maguire gone to Hull now then? I saw United released a statement saying they'd reluctantly accepted but then later on that day Hull said their last bid was made on Wednesday and had been rejected so they were now perusing other options.

Anything over 500k and we be mad to turn it down,
although hird is more than capable I think we would still need another centre half as cover and obviously a striker!

If a concrete bid comes in this week, do the deal then give higdon the wages he wants ,within reason of course!

Not seen a figure quoted for a sell on, all I saw from the Hull end was a mention of the original fee we paid being a six figure sum, hopefully any sell on will be on the profit as is usual practice and not the total fee as some believe happened with Bowery. As for his replacement, I wouldn't be surprised to see Raglan take his place.

I could find no refernce of any sell on agreement when i scoured the net regarding his transfer last week, Although i did find report of it being both 2.5 and 3.5 year deals so no suprise if one was included. (it was 2.5 years in the end).

Also, i'm not sure where you "6 figure sum" comes from either. At the time it was confirmed as "undisclosed" which i understand from someoneaat the club, was not a moneytary figure.

edit: No mention on the Hull City website, either http://www.hullcityt...ent-579777.aspx

I thought the only agreement between Hull & us, as part of Cooper coming here, was that Hull had first refusal on Darikwa should we receive a firm offer for the player.
