Hi everyone,

I manage a football website that is looking for writers. The website is new this season and we are looking for writers to create articles for all 92 clubs in the English leagues.

We went live at the start of June and have already had over 70 articles released.

This is a great opportunity for those that enjoy writing or for budding sports journalists to build an online portfolio. All of our writers have their own profiles and all articles that they have submitted can be viewed on their pages. This gives great exposure.

At this stage and until the site becomes a success we are asking our writers to contribute for free but WHEN the site picks up this will change and we will discuss this with our writers at the time.

Please get in touch if interested at articles@thematch.co.uk

Thanks
Rob

Not interesting in writing but I've bookmarked the site, read a few articles and they're generally of a decent standard.

There must be thousands of people out there not interested in a "career" in sports journalism but more than happy to write for an internet site purely for the love of writing and seeing their work published somewhere that can be accessed by millions. It's not always about money.

In that case, set up a blog.

Good post. It has to be minimum wage rate at least. Anything else is insulting, exploiting and probably illegal

In that case, set up a blog.

May not have the same potential audience.
