I really do hope with all the rumour mongers on here who have spouted about how are finances are in such a bad way, look very red faced in the next few days.

I'm sure the rumour mongers are hoping the same

What have the club said about the 'announcement'? I've read it by several posters but seen nothing official.

Well we'll just have to wait for tomorrow, however I will be expecting an ambiguous statement that will ferment even more "debate"

And if Turners words mean anything it will probably go right up to the start of the season, so be prepared to be frustrated for a little bit long

I don't even expect a statement tomorrow

Chesterfield Post interview from last week, follow on to academy one. This one about signings and finance.

I wonder if CT has seen Cook's SP interview after yesterday's game?

I'm surprised it's not been pulled.

He didn't say that much and imagine if it was

The most depressing thing about it was the needing to protect the players from preseason. The lack of numbers is glaring

He looked hugely frustrated and rightly so, if he's been told x by a member of staff and they haven't even delivered y, then I'd be peed off too. Protecting players in pre-season because we can't afford to bring in replacements, someone who does the maths needs to explain to the shareholders, season ticket holders members etc, what is the next step, and where do CFC go from here?

Haven't we been around DA long enough now to realise he says one thing and does another.I feel sorry for Cook as he certainly doesn't seem hasn't been backed by his chairman this time if what we hear coming out of the club is to be believed.

It is normally held in one of the rooms in the east stand.

No date as yet.

It's odd though, I heard Cook's interview on Saturday and felt quite depressed but the Chesterfield Post interview with Turner released today still spoke of a number of players coming in and certainly didn't hint to impending doom.

What baffles me is why if we have no money to spend on players did we take a needless preseason trip to Portugal? We didn't even play any games there, time and money that could have been spent finding and getting in new players.

It's not been helped by bringing a new physio in to replace Jamie either, not going to be a huge amount but every little helps

He didn't replace Jamie, he replaced the YT physio who left last season. All that has happened is that the two physio shave changed jobs. We have always paid for two physics and are still doing so. It could also be argued that the smaller the squad the more important it is to have the best possible physio in place to keep the players fit and ready to play.

Would you rather pay a chap with the right qualifications or pay a very large fine for having Jamie, who doesn't have the right qualifications?

I'm not sure Mark Mullins would prefer to be called a YT physio?!

This does rather beg the conclusion that......
If Jamie had notice that a certain standard was required, either it was an amicable job swap or he couldn't be assed to improve his qualifications. Maybe it's all a requirement of attaining level 3 accreditation and Jamie never thought it would happen.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on
