Keepers
Letheren
Coddington
Wharton
G.Smith
Przybek (ON LOAN from Ipswich)
Defenders
Buchanan - LB
Carline - LB/RB/CB
Yarney - CB/RB
Maguire - CB
Evans - CB
Hollis - CB
Taylor - LB
Gunning - CB
Sharman (OUT on loan?)
Midfielders
Weston
Whittle
Clarke (ON LOAN from Villa)
McCourt
J.Smith
Butterfield (OUT on loan?)
Whelan
Rowley
M.Smith
Strikers
McKay (OUT on loan?)
Rawson (Out on loan?)
Boden
Denton
Asante
Dinanga (ON LOAN from Stevenage)
Tyson
I make that 30 players - with potentially 4 out on loan and 3 in on loan which is big.
I think we need 5 off the books minimum - 2 keepers, a left back, striker and potentially a centre hald or centre mid.
Coddington, Letheren, Buchanan & Boden jump out which probably would help balance the books.

You think this is bit of fun ? He’s just dishing out contracts to his pals and the trust are happy to just let him ?
This is a serious young manager and when he is managing on the premiership we will all look back at these times and say remember what he did for us
This bloke is the real deal mate have some faith !!

Not being able to fill their bench for a televised game must be embarrassing as embarrassing as their scoring record. Jack McKay must be fit in for them.

Don't be alarmed about the number of goalkeepers (5) in the Town squad. All will become clear in the next few days. Think there might be one or two more surprises as well. #Spireites

But there's no market for them. No other club has any money. Transfer business, loans and permanent, has dried up except at CFC. Paying a contract up will cost more cos nobody has any chance of finding other employment so theyd be stupid to take the risk. It's baffling.
Rowe has got to do summat because whether he likes it or not resentment will build up in such a big squad. For example, it looks like Letheran and Maguire won't be playing yet the defence has let hardly any goals in. Perhaps he'll let loanees leave with no incoming fee but where's the cash to fund it coming from?

With who we've signed it may only take one or two of players on previous contracts to be shifted out to balance the books despite plenty coming in.

Ive probably read too much in to it, but i took that comment about 'a suprise' to suggest a bigger anoucnement than a signing or departure etc.
Maybe an anouncement to help explain where all this money is coming from?

I think he means that there may be a surprise outgoing that will convey an 'I didn't see that one coming' sort of comment! I think the 'in' door will also rapidly change to an 'out' door in the next few days. New pragmatic wage levels means a two in, one out generally provides a positive budget movement as well.

Thats reassuring to hear, thanks Phil. I;m thinkoing now that someone might be leaving for a higher level, for a fee?!
I assume the hierachy aren't worried there will be a premature end to the season??

Can't afford to lose Tom, hate it when we play just 1 up front. Asante and Denanga would be much better off him
Last night we didn't look like scoring hate Manders playing up front,Rowley had a decent game but still doesn't have that killer touch. Out of the last yrs players I wouldn't be too bothered to lose any of them except Tom and Curtis, we need them for our PO push .
