I have, watched Town friendly there in 90s at York Street

Friendly there with Martin Allen in his first season.
God I hate this league.

Yes hence my question as to why you thought it might be a good trip. Total **** hole, full of druggies in market square, a few pubs a couple of decent ones the rest tour probably wouldn’t want to set foot in.

Looks a lovely ground though

New ground is a couple of miles out of town with no pubs anywhere near.
Just a new housing estate across the road.

Have we ever even played them? I remember they had a short stint in the FL similar to Rushden & Diamonds but can't ever remember playing Boston.

We've been to some hovels watching Town i'm sure, can have a good time anywhere if there's beer and some good company!

Jimmy didn’t play per CFC history site. Scorers were Ernie 2 and Shanahan. For the record we beat Plymouth in the next round, and lost 2-0 at Sunderland in the Third.

It’s not that bad- been there loads and it has character. It has a huge Polish population.
The first thing I had to say to staff upon entering the Stump was “Do you know there’s a man urinating in the church doorway?” but it was well worth the trip up the tower to view the flatness for miles around.
These go to eleven.

This had the memory working overtime, with the 2nd round being drawn regionally, well north/south. 2nd round that season was a victory over Dony.

Thanks Moondog, what a weird thing for me to remember when I struggle to recall what I had for breakfast these days 😀
