Apparently Mick McCarthy is set to be announced as the new Cardiff boss but Cooky was offered the job as a temp 6mnth contract. He refused it because he wants security.

I would imagine it can be a very fine line, in any buisness, between being a top motivator or slipping over the line into a bullying culture, especially in today's way of looking at things!

He’s in an industry where there are 92 positions I’d say about nil of those options offer security
If Steve Bruce can keep getting a gig then Paul Cook should have no problems for a good few years imho

Seems a bit strange, let him have a full season where he did ok when they couldnt really buy anyone then spend a fortune and give him half a season before sacking him. Typical Chelsea under Abramovich to be honest.

Love to know how much say Lampard actually had in the players they brought in. With the exception of Pulisic they have been pretty poor to date overall considering what they cost.
