Spare a thought for the Borehamwood coach travellers yesterday (Well sort of).

Their coach was ordered for a 9am pick-up at the ground with the picking up of 2 fans at Newport Pagnell, simple enough you would think. What did the coach driver do, went direct to Newport Pagnell !!!!

On being told of the cock up the bus fans then went to St Pancras station to catch the Sheffield London service, whilst sat on the train they were told of a fatality on the line and then had to join East Coast Trains at Kings Cross changing at Doncaster.

Talking in the pub to them I suggested 4-0 would top their day off nicely.

Last I saw of them was sat on the coach joining the general exit queue at the back of the North stand, driver had not obviously been told about the Tesco coach exit round there.

Anyone recall such pitfalls on their travels.
God I hate this league.

The bus driver decided to pick up the majority first!

Another one of warfey s stories I'd thumbed it to Aldershot then living in Warrington mates dropped me off at Watford gap then carried up to town .man UTD had been in London so I was looking around for a car with stickers on obviously going up the m6,it was dark as I was looking I was run over by a guy in a Morris traveller .he got out said he was sorry and he said he could give me a lift so far .,I said this goes well he said you could buy it if I wanted,I'd had a70 Quid tax refund that week .so I ended up buying the car that had run me over earlier at Watford gap services

Let's break this incredible tale down Dave.

1. You were run over at the side of a motorway.
2. The driver of the car then decided to give you a lift.
3. You liked it so much you bought it off him.

How fast was he going that you were run over and seemingly escape without injury?

Good.
Follows a pattern young Warf had thumbed it to Southend, we dropped him at the services for him to ask Man Ure fans if they were going near Liverpool.

Or the time he decided to try and charm a lady whos partner was a strapping Hells Angel.......also on the service station down that way.
Never a dull moment with David.

And when some kindly chap helped him out of his car at shrewsbury and promptly shut the door looking his keys inside.

The coach driver was looking for a London bus stop for the pick up. Obviously got the wrong place
