Would make a good addition in the match day programme a page dedicated to away days stories as I’m sure there are many across the fan base

I doubt the vast majority of them would be publishable in a football club programme.

Hardly WaRfEY esque, but I dunno if anyone else can remember the away game at Lincoln in the (I'd guess) late 1970s / early 1980s when we were put near their halfway line with some sort of barrier(maybe police?) between their fans and us. The stadium was undergoing building work and there was rubble around on their side which they chose to share with us by lobbing it over the barrier.

It was ridiculous. I remember seeing several Town fans with blood running down their faces.

Yep went to that game. Seem to remember it was after the game when they kept us back they were lobbing bricks and stuff over the wall.

I saw that happen. Chair or not, I reckon you'd have given him one in the chops for that and he'd have well deserved it.
