I sent David Conn an email about it after Garrard admitted cheating by stopping the game for tactical reasons. I still think it was a scandal despite it happening below FL level. Conn didn't even reply. Maybe I should have emailed Gregor!

Ha hardly!
Borehamwood owe me some money for some consultancy work I did so I’ve no time for them at the moment!!
But to think some Town fans are relishing booing a goalie in a forthcoming game or writing complaints about someone is a bit year 7

Blimey, they've deprived you of your hard earned.
Perhaps you could do yourself and every footy fan a favour and suggest to your student friend at 'Spurious University' to produce a thesis along the lines of "How far can a football club push the boundries of morality. It would be as interesting as using a football club as an example of how not to run a business

1/ He could investigate your tribulations.

2/Following it with a look at how attempts were made to rip off away fans to supplement a lack of income due to limited home fans, by offering tickets (like others)at £2 chesper if bought in advance but only selling at their club.

3/He could investigate whether BWFC feel they are in a untouchable comfort zone regards retribution to their actions, ie why would a senior club official brazenly go on a public platform and brag about telling his players to cheat and more worryingly instruct a professional medic to jeopardise the integrity of his colleagues by misdiagnosing an injury? if not fearing at least a slap on the wrist.

4/He could question the many well documented on field antics.

5/Perhsps in conclusion if the question of why did they sign a player with a very questionable reputatiom? Was it for his ability or that any due diligence showed his reputation fitted well with the clubs ethos.

Plenty there that could have been discussed over an expensive cappuccino!!!

Did CPS ever acknowledge the revelation about their cheating which implicated their medical staff? He said it couldn't and wouldn't ever happen.

I know he tries to see the good in football people, but a reflection on the reality would be interesting from a seasoned pro.

I don't like to stick my neck into somebody elses disagreement, but the forecast of 6-8 weeks for Gav's broken nose to recover shook my faith in his credentials, especially when Gav appeared the following Saturday.
But we're all guilty of exaggeration. Cut him a bit of slack.
