I have my views, they differ from yours. I believe politics and sport shouldn't mix. But this is such an emotionally driven subject that if I posted something that somebody emotionally reads incorrectly, then it can get very personal and very ugly very quickly.
I respect everybody's opinion, I might not always understand it but always respect it and I get the distinct feeling that not everybody is capable of doing that.
I have entered a debate on the manager thread asking questions, if anybody wants to answer them then fine but I will state now that I won't be entering any debate on this subject from here on.

Yeah thats fair enough.
Me I reckon whatever state politics and sport are in at any particular time can always be traced to a comment set of causes, and one of them is the degree to which people go along with stuff that they kind of know is wrong but well, y'know , at the end of the day theyre all the same etc, and its only football etc.

Ive usually been pretty good at respecting peoples opinions ( no, really), but Id have problems with anyone whose opinion was that the money that paid Jamal Khashoggi's
killers is clean enough for them as long as it buys the league cup and 4th in the premiership.

Why do you respect everybody's opinion? That seems foolish. What if the opinion is horrifically sexist, like saying women shouldn't be able to participate in society? Would you respect that and if so, why?

Looks like Newcastle ownership is back under the microscope since they were effectively confirmed as being 'state controlled' in a recent court case regarding their stake in LIV golf.
