May have done at Yeovil as well, but definitely did score from a free kick away at Port Vale in the end with us behind the goal.

We went on to lose the game despite PV being down to 10 men after a sending off. Grimsby (away) aside I always viewed that loss as being one of the major nails in the coffin of our football league existence, as they were also struggling and we still succumbed against 10 men.

One of the few games I went to that season. We were absolutely pathetic.

Wasn't it Danny Wilson who introduced Jake to first team football?

The lad's done well since being released.

A number of Danny's signings have also done ok since leaving us and I still feel had the Powers That Were backed him, at the time, we would never have dropped to the level we are at now. Having said that, had that been the case, we might not have got the ownership etc we have now.

We would have never gone down if Wilson was given the funds that the Welsh top hat before him got. The none signing of Novak and sale of Morsy along with others pretty much the writing was on the wall along with the Ched signing

Carson's decision to sack Danny.

I told him when he was sounding me out as to my thoughts after we lost at Rochdale on Boxing Day that he just needed backing in the January transfer window but the twat thought he knew better...
