Been looking a bit more of the fixtures and have realised that some of our games in November and December overlap with WC games. Do wonder if some may get moved depending on who plays in those games just for lack of interest in the NL when WC football is on offer?

Saturday 26th Nov - Woking (H) overlaps with France v Denmark (not a big deal who cares tbh)

Saturday 3rd Dec - Halifax (A) kicks off 1 hour before Group A winner vs Group B runner-up (England's group)

Tuesday 13th Dec - Wrexham (A) starts around the time that a semi that (theoretically) England could be in kicks off.

Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire

Never the twain shall meet.

Apparently the NL stated any changes of times or dates will be strictly between the two clubs

Personally, I couldn't give a toss about the WC, Town matches come 1st to me every time even if England got to the final.

England in a WC Semi Final down the pub or a cold Tuesday night in Wrexham a week before Xmas. I get your point but you'd be in the minority I suspect

Exactly, the world cup should be in the summer not nov - dec. Just hope FIFA don't get some stupid idea that it will be a good idea for future tournaments.

I am also Town before England, although still want them to win a lot - think the one advantage to supporting England is the magnitude of support, obviously there's a lot more England fans. Imagine it's like supporting a Prem team

Nice to watch a game where the ref doesn't wanna be the centre of attention, .. standard isn't great, but where we are, who are we to criticise..
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Not watching a single minute of this ‘World Cup’. I used to think it the greatest show on Earth…. Then it was sold to slavers.
These go to eleven.

With this variation, it definitely gets moved.

6-0 before half time, in theory it was the big game to decide the top place in the group. England look like scoring every time they go forward.
