Can't imagine anything bad with Dorking but it's taking home tickets away from people who want to watch their first game at this level?

Ughh,

Don’t take away tickets from folk who’ve never seen a home game?

You talking to Town fans who never miss an away game?

That's not what he said, are you deliberately being obtuse due to your reputation on here?

Well he did say that, their record crowd is 1300

So it stands to reason that for most it would be their first ever game

He’s saying our fans shouldn’t buy in their end so there’s more room for folk who’ve never been

That’s how I read it, but perhaps you could educate me?

If they're only getting 1300 home attendances I'm sure our away allocation will be large enough to fill demand. Most teams that size will want to cash out on a large away following.

Given your chat I'd hope you'd be there but I assume you're more of the 'all bark no bite' variety.

To be fair that is what he said.

hogwash to Dorking fans in all honesty. Another tinpot set up that won't be able to deal with this level.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

No, he said 'taking home tickets away from people who want to watch their first game at this level?' which doesn't mean peoples first games, it means people first chance to watch them since they were promoted to the NL.

Imagine we'd won the play offs to the Championship, and first home game there were 1,000 Forest fans in our home stand, meaning 1,000 home fans couldn't watch us at that level for the first time (in most peoples living memory!)

It would be down to us to put things in place to prevent that from happening. Just as Dorking can do if they wish. Given they don't ever get crowds that threaten capacity, nor usually segregate fans at games, it's not something that they're too fussed about.

I only live 30 miles from Dorking but I'm not a Town season ticket holder, so the chances of me getting an away end ticket are slim. I know its selfish but how many Town fans where dotted around Stamford Bridge!

With the price of petrol and cost of living ... can we get a car share going for Spireites travelling down in their own vehicles so we can chuck in with the Petrol. Lets use this forum to let fellow fans know if they have spare places in their cars.

I'd say probably worth a thread pinned at the top for next season maybe.

I drive to move midweek games and the odd Sat one and don't always have a car full.
