I don't know what ya ya brought to the party first half he looked like the black Chris Herd, no mobility at all or no effort to track back.
Such a crap game I kept turning over to watch Dover v forest Green and Jesus how bad was that game. If that's the better end of the conference then God help it.

Possibly 4 Spanish teams in the European finals and we still go on how competitive the PL is against their league
Lowest common denominator I reckon

Why did Man City think they had any chance?

Some true real fans in there that have seen two very differing sides of the coin over the last 20 years ...this would have been Some Cherry but .... not to be
But seriously Pellegrini if you could just keep this form ( Southampton away ,...particularly Chap ! and Real Madrid away form) going at home to Arsenal and just maybe at Swansea that would be very nice
Thank you

Nullified De Bruyn and Aguero
Toure was terrible
However, City still only lost to a deflected goal over two legs to a very good side and did better in Europe than they have in the past

True, but in reality the 0-1 last night flatters City. RM were the far better team on the night.

What I find equally as relevant is that in the first leg Madrid were extremely defensive in their set up and quite negative during the first half especially. Yet over the course of the 90 minutes had more attempts on goal than Man City. That spoke volumes really, not about Madrid being particularly good but about Man City's inability to carve anything of note out against them.
After going behind last night, they confirmed this conclusively.
