Whys it down to us to benefit other sides? We’ve done what we need to and, while we won’t, we’ve earned the right to play who we want from here on in. We don’t owe other teams anything.

I feel 100% confident that in reversed roles no club in this league would be going out of their way to do us any favours.

Agreed about this but can you imagine the wailing, moaning and conspiracy theories peddled by a substantial minority on here if were on the end of dubious team selections by others - it would be painful in the extreme

Not sure there’s much more to be learned at this stage. I just hope we put out our strongest and go for five wins, not for anyone’s benefit but for ours.

I didn’t say it was a benefit. You interpreted it that way.

We need to be fair to the other clubs in the NL who are still in the fight against relegation or to claim a place in the playoffs. As such, we should be playing our strongest team with a view to trying to win every game we have left.

In a week when lots of players have moved in, out, and between NL clubs, it's a bit precious to argue that we shouldn't do it in principle. Any road up, I don't think owt will happen unless maybe we get a triallist like the Macclesfield lad in. Don't even know when the deadline is.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Deadline has passed, it was today.

Back to the Wrexham thing briefly….fairytale story getting promotion on the back of these financial figures!!!

“Wrexham put out press release for 22/23 accounts. 🔑 figs
Revenue £10.5m (record for NL & higher than all of L2 and most of L1)
Wages £6.9m (as above)
Losses £5.1m (same)
Amount owing to owners £9m”

When ya look at the wage bill, no-one really should have got a look in, yet we beat them at home, a probs could have nicked a draw at theirs, and county pushed them all the way,.. Good job they had a crap manager...

I'd bet the wage bill has gone up 1 or 2 million this season too.. and still not guaranteed promotion yet.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

I can't see anything beyond 200+ adverts. I do know there's a porn star update after cardiac arrest though!

I've all but given up on trying to read Greenie's postings because of the adverts, it's OK when they are smallish so you can scroll above or below them, but the ones fully down the sides grrrr...... I just close the thread.

Yep, it's like trying to paint the staircase through the letterbox. I suppose it's to be expected though, now that we don't need little squares of paper hung on a nail in the outside bog.

Quite often that option does not pop up,probably the only pop up that doesn't.Cannot find anywhere to remove the side banners,Duck Duck Go browser usually removes them but the loading times then are like being on dial up!
