Six figure sum so at least 100k then.....I will take a guess at 102k .....sold figure I saw was 648k so rounds it up nicely at 750k.....all extra funds welcome irrespective of how they are used.....better than a kick up the jacksey....would like to think most if not all can be used on the players budget..😄😄

I think DA has other ideas for it.

'Six figure sum'...but Biggs didn't say where the decimal point is.

I think one or two of the board might change the decimal point!

Doesn't matter where the "." Is
That money has gone. Remember at the start of the season DA said he'd like 7500 in the ground. We are well short that pie in the sky figure. Clucas and Tendayi money gone to cover Turners continual financial black hole. God help us next year, when there are no players left to sell. Our budget will be on a par with that of the yellow stain
A new hope.

Did the Chairman really say that, 'AKITB'?

The only quote of that number I've seen came from a messageboard member with a reputation for plucking figures from thin air.

I think Allen mentioned a break even point of seven thousand prior to last season which was pretty much achieved, not to mention the bonuses of an FA Cup fourth round appearance and play off monies.

But as you so rightly say that went into the financial black hole overseen by a CEO who's admitted struggling with stats.

PS: whatever issues afflict us I'm still confident a fanbase two or three times that of our little neighbours and facilities they can only dream of will see Wilson's budget exceed whatever their manager receives. Infact as 'Ernie x 3' says, their best player, Ryan Tafazolli, considers a move to the Proact as the same significant step up Sam Clucas clearly did.

Sure he did in an interview with the post. "I'd like 7 1/2 thousand" , and I'm sure the root vegetable said the same, even going as far as "possibly 8000"

Not so sure about the budget though. IF Our chairman does indeed split the business, then the club would have to rely purely on gate receipts. Throw in the pay off to Foodbanks, costs for running the stadium, and other "football related activities" the root vegetable might bill the football side for, how much does that realistically leave if running at break even?

A new hope.

More cash coming in due to Cook getting Pompey into the play offs. Promotion means even more!
According to Biggs again.

I'm not naïve enough to think that we'll ever see any proper accounting, but he's had £100k cup windfall, £100k Tendayi windfall, and a possible £200k Portsmouth windfall still to come. That should easily pay for the Saunders mistake. He also had record season ticket sales, excellent gates despite the dross, a player budget which has been adhered to (according to Ashley), and probably about £1.5m in transfer fees. The Chairman has no excuse for failing to implement his 70/30 plan on debt reduction. I hope to hear all about it when he dares face the press.

He'll tell you wha he wants you to know - by the time next years accounts come out he could be gone.

At best then, debt reduced by about a million?
A new hope.

I'd be amazed if it's anything like that positive.

So would I, but he deserves some real hard questioning if he doesn't keep his half of the deal. It was his plan and it's his man who is supposed to implement it. We've done our bit.
