No doubt he had his work cut out when he joined, but i reckon the stats would confirm we've become a much harder team to beat than we were under his predecessor, and it's that what's dragged us over the line.
Well done Danny & thanks.

And well done to the fans for forcing the change at a time most needed.
But I spend the summer with an open mind when it comes to who comes in etc.
We can all see the way forward for the club,I can only hope the board can match our ambitions.

Someone that would generate interest interest would be a big name, I'd rather we tried to pick up some young players from the division below, or released by Championship/Premier league teams. The last thing we need is another Ebanks-Blake on our hands.

We don't need him, let alone another.

Not necessarily. Steve Fletcher, Gary Roberts, Darren Currie all generated interest. Granted. They weren't all early signings and weren't all the best signings we made but still generated interest when signed. Just because they're higher up the divisions doesn't mean the club shows ambition when signing them. A young talent can generate interest. Jamie Ward, Sam Morsy, Liam Cooper, Sam Clucas.

I think he is a safe pair of hands possibly better if he gets some backing (oh well, mid-table then)
If he hadn't lost, Evatt, Morsy, Jones and then O'Neil, I think we would've had us well clear by now

Did any of those four really generate that much extra interest though? Maybe Clucas as he was from the Stags but that's about it

It certainly is job well done. We can all breathe a sigh of relief now.
I don't think DW's helped himself at times, but mindful of the imbalanced squad that he inherited and losing key players like Evo, it's difficult to judge how significant his contribution has been since becoming our manager.
Once again, the club is faced with yet another interesting summer. For me, DW has to create his own space in order to re-shape the squad and that means releasing all of those players who are out of contract.

You must be joking?
He'll keep Donohue, who'll not be on much and probably Drew even with his injury issues. Both flexible which will be invaluable with no emergency loans
Dieseruvwe, Orrell, Herd, Slew, Humphreys, Harrison, Maguire, Beesley, Onovwigun etc. will probably all go but that isn't going save much budget so he might even keep one or two of the younger ones for the reason above

Some of the football hasn't been pretty to look at, however well done Danny and Morgs. you've achieved what looked to be a an impossible task, Survival. You had no luck with injuries which made the task of putting a half decent side together even more difficult.DA Must give him all the finnancial clout he can give him if we are to start moving upwards and forwards once again. Well done Danny and co.

I'd keep Donohue and release all the others (exceptions being Maguire and Beesley as I don't know anything about their potential and couldn't assess)
