Like every town fan I crave change and an upward turn of fortune. I dispair at our current situation.

Where I really struggle to agree is the concept that those who go are simply lining DAs pockets !!

Please do the maths, even with our new look cheaper squad we have significant wages to pay, we are possibly still paying ex managers, the club like any business wil have some very hefty overheads.

Missmanagement and possibly an element of bad luck in a employing team managers and backroom staff have cost the club massively.

I have no idea what if any agenda the current owners have and i will be delighted when the word current is replaced by former but much as it pains me they do seem to have backed MA.

I fear another well meaning appointment goes wrong and costs us all.

MA may have been a decent manager at this level but he does appear to have fallen behind the times.

Yes he NEARLY saved Barnet, to be fair Jack Lester gave us a temporary boost.

Your call not to go , I will pick and choose now because it has stopped giving any entertainment, not to starve the multi millionare of my £20

Yes. It was a bad choice of words by me (few shandies yesterday). What I meant to say, was that we are propping up this failing regime by having the 2nd best following in the NL.

The best metaphor I can think of, is having an alcoholic friend.. he comes round to your house every day, asking for money for a bottle of whisky; and you give it him, because he's your friend, and because you've had good times together in the past, because he needs it, to stop him going through the short term pain of alcohol withdrawal.

But in reality, you're simply enabling him to continue to engage in behaviour which ultimately will lead to a worse long term outcome.

CFC is a smelly old drunk. Covered in cardboard boxes and lying in a pool of its own urine and vomit. Everytime you chuck it some change for another - past its sell by date - 3 litre bottle of Scrumpy Jack, you're condemning it to continue its insane self destructive behaviour until its liver finally gives up.

you may as well protest even if it only highlights the plight of the club. Although telling Dave Allen to f off will just be counter productive. Other clubs like Charlton and Blackpool and Orient protesting have had no effect but at least the national media know whats going on.

The Oystons lost a court case and have to stump up tens of millions, which may yet force them out.

A tremendously depressing way to think of it but you’re bang on the money.

They were the days.

Even the tramps give us a wide berth now.

I've been having a bad time recently.

It's OK, I'm putting it down to a spurious PTSD trauma.

I totally agree with everything in this post.but i don't agree in this notapennymore stuff.why the hell should i not go to something ive enjoyed for many years because of dave allen?
Its a tradition, like a drug to all us supporters.something you can't just decide to stop doing.
As for tuesday, yes vent your frustrations but leave it for before and after the game.chanting negative things to the players gets us nowhere.i want the team to win, like all of us.
I couldnt believe we were clapping their goals, then that stupid'we lose every week' song,
It's true but do you think the players will respond well hearing chants like that,it will only make things worse.

Because he's about to destroy it. You say you don't agree with us, I dont understand why people will keep flocking along with blind loyalty as he slowly wipes this club out of existence without so much as a ripple of resistance. If in a year or so the club gets folded cause of him there will be nothing to support. Will you be proud that you kept going regardless and did nothing to stop it? Sometimes you have to make the tough decisions and say enough is enough, starving him out is the only option left imo.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!
