7wins in 9 games seems to have got it right at Barnet

Are you saying Rowley should play centre mid or what would be your midfield.

For what it's worth Weir seems the obvious choice for midfield considering injuries and suspension.

I’m not suggesting a midfield. I’m merely suggesting that Robbie Weir should not be part of it. Charlie Wakefield would be a better option in central midfield if we could recall him.

But what midfield would you play without Weir.

He's got dog doo doo quality in this squad and no goals, it really is desperate times.

I think that’s as good a side and shape we can put out with this shower of a squad.

I’d go 3 at the back, JBW and Rowley/Talbot wide, Smith Weston CM. a front 3 of Hines, Denton and Fortune. Wide men from half way onwards hit it diagonally to Denton and he feeds his 2 buddies.

A new hope.

I think we saw from the interview a manager who cares and doesn't hide.

I'm driving up tonight for the game (which I don't usually do due to the distance) solely based on his comments and to see the reaction after that interview.

Whether at 11:30ish tonight (as I'm pulling into my drive) I'm still thinking that remains to be seen

Really? I think all he does is pull mundane platitudes from his backside and bang on about needing men. Big manly men.

Well I just got back (12:20) I walked out on 75 mins, the M1 was shut between Nottingham and the M42 and all the detours were of so kindly down to 1 lane.

Town look a shell of the side we see in August, we've gone back to passing the buck instead of shooting at goal. The long ball is awful, crosses were poor, sorry CROSSES!

The first goal for them seemed a handball, but our guys bunched together and left a ton of space. 2nd goal again, everyone bunched and we were punished (also noted Jalal was way too far out and gave himself no chance to recover).

We got the pen and put it away but then that shambles for the 3rd, I stuck it out for another 10 mins but we were never going to score 2 let another 3 (or the 4 we really needed).

Someone shouted at MA saying the players didn't care, he responded saying of course they do they're running their socks off. Sadly that doesn't seem enough!

Interesting what you say about Jalal. He needs to be dropped, makes too many errors and play Burton who is marginally a better keeper.

For the second goal the scorer almost tripped over his own feet and Jalal just went down far too early and made it easy for him. He’s not impressed me all season and loooks as bad as Anyon, the other keeper should come in

I pointed out Allen's laughable comments about preferring Jalal to Chelsea's £70m Kepa at the time.

Now they look even more ridiculous.

Yeah, he seems to have lost his mojo, looked decent first couple of games. I think the lad on loan has looked better. Defence looks shakey, they seem to make at least 4 huge howlers a game.

You mean the immobile giant who has probably been our best player in the two games he has played.

Harsh to judge the guy based on that saying he doesn't score goals.

Who is providing the so called service?

He's suspended for 3 games.
