What's a 2up/2down on Sanforth Street sell for, around £100,000. Guessing DA's investment is still pretty safe with the bricks and mortar alone. The interest and previous player sales will have been a nice little earner too.

The selling price appears irrelevant as it appears that DA will only sell to someone that suits his agenda

Based on potential buyers touted as being close to DA being happy it would be out of the frying pan into the fire

DA appears to not want to sell to local genuine consortium at any price

I am led to believe that at least 2 local consortiums have tabled bids for the alleged asking price to be either turned down or asked to pay extras at the last minute and even one consortium told they will be declined whatever they offer.

I had no idea of such an offer being placed, I would guess a lot more fans like me didn't know either, I wonder if lots of fans knew this whether the mass pressure of 1,000s of town fans asking questions might help this consortium along, I think these needs bringing to the publics attention a little more.

I would hope any consortium, local or otherwise offering the full asking price would have the nous to generate their own publicity if they wanted the club and had the rug pulled from under them so to speak. Unfortunately I think such consortiums are just another Urban Myth

I don't know benno but he does not strike me as the type of person to post this without good reason, little dave on the other hand does strike me as the type of person who would not sell the club even at the asking price if the person offering the money wasn't his choice.

I said in a post quite sometime ago..I can't be bothered to look sorry..that it would be interesting if a genuine buyer came foward who was extremely wealthy and offered a tantalising figure to DA to see if he accepted...I don't think he would.
The reason I gave was I honestly think he simply doesn't want to sell to genuine people.
