I remember waiting to kick off one morning at Carr Vale. Alan Hanbury rushed off the pitch and spewed up at the half way line. I could take you there and point at the exact spot. He then ran back on and kicked off. A few giggles but no-one really battered an eye-lid as if was perfectly normal. A good strong centre forward was Alan.
