Thanks.

Do you know what percentage of shirts got sponsored the last 2 years compared to this?

Just need to look at a program for last year and one for this year, gives you lists of who sponsors which shirt

The main reason why I'm not going is because of how the clubs being run and the sheer arrogance and attitude towards its customers and they can't even explain what is happening. Everything is a contradiction.

To get me back, the club would need to:

Explain the link/no link between the academy over the road and the club, in an official statement.
Explain why we lost over a million quid in our most successful season and what's happened to all the income from sales, where has it gone? What have we spent it on?
Be transparent about the clubs dealings (as I have lost all faith in the operations and the ability to operate successfully at a profit).
Get rid of the ridiculous pay-on-the-day charges and the additional quid online.

Obviously this won't happen so I'll continue my boycott.

For me, the first step is honesty - the club needs to stop spinning situations and state honestly what the business plan is in certain ways.

For example -

- It may be that a PPP/academy is warranted - explain why, what it's trying to achieve and why it might make a loss until properly established.
- Explain what the business model is with regard to player recruitment and retention- be honest about the need for player sales and that players will be developed for sale
- Explain the losses, what has been done to address them. If things have come out of the woodwork, or the club have tried something and it didn't come off, detail what it was and why they took a gamble.
- Explain changes in employee personnel as clearly as possible to the fans - if they can't (say, an employee has left and there's an agreement in place) then just say 'it's confidential because.....'

I'm sure there are many others but, give the fans an honest of overview of where CFC are currently. Don't raise expectations like they did under Cook and then dismantle them, spinning the opposite of what is happening in front of eveyone's eyes.

If the club admitted it had lower expectations and that the financial reality is not 'championship in 5 yrs' but 'Top-end L1 club' then I believe many fans would accept what we are.

Once they are realistic about the state of the club, they can move forward with how to get punters back in the ground. As it is, there is no trust and many fans now openly resent giving the club any money.
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Excellent post exactly where I am! A simply SORRY we got things wrong wouldn't go a miss either. I still live in hope Turnipe will get the push and a experienced QUALIFIED candidate appointed CEO.
