We might make a bit more money if we stopped selling that lager that tastes likes it's been filtered through a Japanese nuclear reactor.

I've heard DA say that before

I think they are a bit rattled by the reaction and are now making it up as the go along

The Kuwaiti thing is interesting, are they looking for someone to gift money?

The alternatives are....

More loans of some nature which isn't going to help the situation or shares which will diminish DAs control of the club. Maybe that is his exit strategy I

I there any other options

The screech of brakes and the smell of burning rubber, the clunk of gears as it's rammed into reverse and DA unclips his seatbelt turns in his seat and hurtles backwards at an alarming rate..

You have to laugh.

It's ok to loosen the strings mid season if gates are up, but apparently not tighten them if they're down...

Several sources - some I trust, some I don't - have told me there'll be no arrivals before August.

And then they'll be low cost loans from sympathetic managers, if any.

By the way, gotta love Turner's "It's no one's major mistake" line.

Oh no, the club are completely open about every facet of the day to day business operation, in fact if you contact them they'll forward copies of minutes from recent meetings.

So how do other clubs make them work?? Examples being Donny and Brighton - both way out of town stadiums, yet incorporate good supporters bars. Both doing a roaring trade on the games i've visited.

This is a PR disaster, on the player interview he says we don't need to sell anybody but if we did a proportion of the proceeds would be available to Cook :angry

"We held our own last season against Leeds, Oldham and Peterborough" when we only managed a solitary (lucky) draw in the 3 games.
