So, we can afford to announce a new kit man..... Hot news!!! ... And not announce anything about season tickets...... Go figure!

Btw I don't think it costs us anything to create a new page, this is just a lack of comms. We don't seem to do communications well as a club which is a shame as there could be loads of stuff we could write about for the web to get people interested and visiting.

What? I got a -1 for suggesting the new kit man was less important news than season tickets being ready?? Come on, own up, who was the one who got excited about the new kit man!!

One thing the club should do is open the ticket office and shop on a Saturday, would mean people who work during the week could pick up their season tickets at a sensible time. Never understood why Chesterfield given up all the potential income. Would be sensible to open at least Saturday morning, and may be close Monday instead.
At York for example they were open today between 10am and 2pm, so season ticket holders could pick up their tickets. If they can we should.

The answer has been in the past that it would cost more than they make. Although every time I pass the ground on a Saturday morning, no matter what time, I see people trying to go to the shop. Bear in mind though, the people that work in the shop do go to some away matches, so would it need another set of staff?

Edit: Although if the answer has come from Chris Turner I take it with a pinch of salt.

That's the point tho , it's amateurish . You can't close a shop on one of its best days cos the staff want to go to an away match! I worked for years not being able to go to sat games - I know what my boss would have said if I said I wasn't opening because I was going to watch town lol.
