Followed up by who and when was the club ever alerted to him to follow something up it has to be an option where is it written it was a player CFC even knew about. Not every player flags up on a clubs radar. Or are you claiming you told the club about him?

Is his Dad still interested in us? If so, an offer might be possible right now!

What division of the Jock pub league are Cowdenbeath in? Remember we got Doyle from the top division of that league structure, Barnsley have took a punt, same as we have on Charlie Dawes, no way he'll be a first team regular at Barnsley

Scottish Championship surprisingly, but nearly got relegated. Survived in Play offs.

Wouldnt have been any good for us anyway cos hes only around 6ft 1.

so not even close to having the pedigree we are looking for and almost certainly not an improvement on Doyle or Armand

people forget we were up with the top scorers in L2 with no 20 goal a season striker, yes we need more options up front but the doom and gloom on here and talk of being just like 2011 is ridiculous - the squad is far superior to what we had then!

The forward line was better last time. Lester, Bowery, Clarke, Boden, Westcarr.

only Lester

Clarke did ok for a few games, Westcarr flattered to deceive, Bowery and Boden were OK

And as stated we have the same forward line (minus Richards) who were part of one of the top scoring teams in L2

Doyle should be better this season as should Armand, no one knows how good Dawes will be and there is the option of using Gardner as a striker

One recognised striker added to our squad would be good but still think we can do ok without

Squad is already better than 2011, with another decent striker it is Miles better than 2011

Lester (pre-2012), Bowery and Clarke would all walk into this side and probably make the difference to us as it stands.

Even Westcarr got 18 goals in L1 last year.

The only one who would probably still be out of his depth would be Boden (although I hear he's improved!)

The Westcarr Walsall got would have been ok - our Westcarr wouldn't!
