I honesty do not see the problem if we do sign him, every time I have seen him he has looked a class act if a bit imobile, what is typical of this board is the total over the top reaction and slating of a player before he has even signed.
If Parkin is on trial he will have to work on his fitness possibly more than he ever has in his career, I for one will certainly back him to do that.
I would suggest if we had played Parkin last season instead of Richards, remembering the chances Richards missed Parkn would have buried half of them, he is a player who gets a chance and he usually takes it.
When we have the current option of having Armand as a plan B with Doyle as the main striker it's a no brainer. For me anyway Parkin over Armand all day every day.

Having had time to think about it, that reaction hasn't changed.
God help us, hardly be cheap either, was on a 5k p/w+ at Fleetwood by all acounts
