Now I very much doubt he's part of the cover up and his was just another crass comment to distract from the huge police cuts being discussed at the time. But he's definitely a part of a British establishment responsible for turning such a disgusting blind eye. He went to the same school as them. He mixes in the same social circles as them. He's part of the same 'old boys network' as them.

This is a sickening scandal that crosses party lines. It should be front and center for every paper and media outlet in the land. The authorities should go further and deeper to find out who did what and when.

However it wouldn't surprise me if those papers, media outlets and authorities involve other members of that establishment who'd like the whole thing to quietly go away...

It's happening all over mate, you've only got to look at the ongoing media blackout over a very famous tv personality and his alleged association with a much much younger man, nothing illegal as such but a case of very very hypercritical behaviour at best. It's as though they never learn and are quite happy for things to be brushed under the carpet.

in fairness to the famous tv personality & his association with a younger man, if theres nothing illegal who actually cares? we have no right to know.

Sorry 'M', but I think there's a huge difference between a single so called celeb seeking to keep a relationship secret and the long term covering up of paedophilia with the British establishment.

This is huge. It should be huge. But my guess is that same British establishment will once again close ranks...

No i agree chris, this wants exposing right from the very top and everyone and anyone who's accountable should be dealt with, the point I was trying to make is that it starts at the very bottom with them all looking out for each other so no wonder it's progresses from cover up to cover up right the way to the top, both in terms of crimes/ misdemeanours etc committed and the standing of those committing them.
