Why would Ashley, a man universally disliked by supporters, go in a supporters' bar after a poor defeat at home unless it was to generate a reaction like the one he got?

Was he applauded? just to add, if it's true, regardless of what we thought of the players yesterday, what business has he got revealing people's wages? Surely that's covered under some data protection act somewhere? If he actually did that of course!

He was there with the match sponsors Regency Shipping who were having a staff get together after the match. He stayed for about an hour and half talking mainly to fans.
He answered every question and listened to many points of view.
Some questions were about the playing budget where he accessed a file showing the bottom line total wage bill of £1.2m. Absolutely no individual wages were disclosed, other than to deny that Gerrard was paid over £2,000 a week, that a fan had said had been confirmed to him on good authority.

If he was trying to prove that the player budget isn’t being starved, than maybe he should break down the total wage bill between players, coaching staff, academy and everything else on the next set of accounts.

He has everything to do with the club on an iCloud Drive so can access everything from any device. So it isn't a case of him carrying random files on his phone.

They transport Ashley's precious metals. Quite why he would want to take a supplier in there, knowing the reaction he would get, is anyone's guess.

I wonder if Ashley's bosses former tenant James Stunt uses them?
