Well he beat Hollis comfortably to the ball and headed it powerfully towards the near post. Why would he be surprised when it went in?

Just the delayed reaction on his face when he realised the ball had hit the back of the net

I thought it looked just as horrendous live on Saturday.

Whilst, I didn't necessarily understand the team line up or the fact that Shez made no positional changes or substitutions until the hour was up I do accept that no manager can be blamed for the that type of clumsy error by a player.

Bear in mind, this is a player some on these boards have said is the only one we've got worth owt and he has been given a new two year contract not long ago whilst, so far, he has had quite a poor season. However, with a bit of luck, he might now pick his game up and start giving something like the performances he did last season after Shez arrived.

All three goals look atrocious. That first one with the ball over the top is sunday league 101. Neither of our cb's have any idea where the striker is when the ball is played and by then it's far too late.

Our last three years in the EFL saw Hird and Evatt scapegoated - even when they weren't playing!

Given things have got demonstrably worse since then - and ignoring where the club featuring Sam H' is now - I'd simply ask why there isn't a similar vendetta against any current defenders...

Refused to go Saturday. Haven’t posted anything about the result, just watched the highlights. Oh. My. Word. The standard of defending is nothing short of diabolical. Fancy forming a new club anyone? I’ll wash the kit each week and bring the oranges for half time - maybe then we can start having some fun again.

Only doing Saturday games. Suppose Gerrard will be back now fwiw. I thought Evans was slow and unreliable when he first came here, he then improved a lot and now he's regressed.

As a glass half full person it saddens me to observe :-
The owner has lost interest
The Manager has lost interest
The players can't be bothered
The fans (that still attend) can't even be bothered to Boo such an abysmal display !

That seems to sum up things very accurately at the moment

I think that sums it all up perfectly.
I was in Town at the weekend and didn't once think about going to the game (and I don't have to pay)!

Why don’t you have to pay? Are you an over 80? I thought you were still involved with amateur footie down south. Respect.

Nah I'm freelance and work with a few clubs.
Got a pass that gets me in all grounds (a scouting pass basically). Not Champs Lge games though)
