Today could be one of the most important days for the club's future success.

I pray that DA has seen sense and realised the club is becoming a pain for him and now genuinely wants out and willing to accept any reasonable offer.

Give it a few weeks stress they will just be tyre kickers.

Allen has no interest in selling the club he either wants the ground or the land. Also does the local consortium have the £11m pounds that Allen will be stupidly asking for.

I really really hope this one materialises but I fear it will just end up like all the others.

Toby Perkins has suggested that there's a desire from DA to arrange his exit.

What does he know about matters concerning CFC? He is as bad as the others who have done sweet FA.

He knows more than most people I would suggest. Who are the ‘others’ you are lumping him in with and what do you think he could have done personally?

IMO with the amount of debt at the club there is no saleable value.
Any offer should be on the lines of taking over the club for free and agreeing a suitable amount of debt to repay over fixed terms allowing any available cash investment to improve the playing squad and cashflow until some overpaid players can be off loaded. The added bonus to this is gifted shares would be potentially worthless but so would shares in a club that folded.

Unfortunately my £2.90 win on the Euromillions is not enough to join any consortium

Are you suggesting that the capital introduced by any consortium to acquire the shares of Dave Allen & Co should be used for improving the squad and cashflow if a repayment plan can be agreed with DA? If you are, where is the cash coming from to repay DA?

Could Allen sell the club and keep the ground?
These go to eleven.

Not unless he splits it from the business first.

Allen can do what he wants but no one will buy the club without the ground. My hope is that he has had enough and will walk away with nothing or very little but knowing that he will no longer have to put his hand in his pocket. Let’s see but I am sure it will happen quickly as in he will either let it go or dismiss the offer
