I pray that DA has seen sense and realised the club is becoming a pain for him and now genuinely wants out and willing to accept any reasonable offer.

Allen has no interest in selling the club he either wants the ground or the land. Also does the local consortium have the £11m pounds that Allen will be stupidly asking for.
I really really hope this one materialises but I fear it will just end up like all the others.

Any offer should be on the lines of taking over the club for free and agreeing a suitable amount of debt to repay over fixed terms allowing any available cash investment to improve the playing squad and cashflow until some overpaid players can be off loaded. The added bonus to this is gifted shares would be potentially worthless but so would shares in a club that folded.

Are you suggesting that the capital introduced by any consortium to acquire the shares of Dave Allen & Co should be used for improving the squad and cashflow if a repayment plan can be agreed with DA? If you are, where is the cash coming from to repay DA?
