Interesting.

If this happens who's out the door then?

- Allen
- Carson
- Bean

- Croot and Warner should be on shakey ground with most fans for happily going along with the last few years.
- The Ass. Directors
- The Kitman

That would in theory be possible but would probably depend on any terms built into the transfer of land to the club in the first place.

I would expect any sale to e debt free to the current owner, ie we buy the assets, and any liabilities to others, you suck up any debt to you or your businesses and we kick on from that position. Lets be honest, given current level of losses, that would be hard enough. Better to get everything connected to him done in one go.

No ground, no purchase as far as I am concerned also....

He sold SWFC for £1 in the end didn't he? Wonder how much it took before he decided to cut his losses there...

I can’t see any prospective respectable or competent consortium falling for that one

In response to blue5 (sorry can’t reply direct to your question from my phone)
Firstly my comments are pure speculation as I have absolutely no idea of any figures involved but my thinking right or wrong would be to factor repayments to DA as part of any cashflow going forward based on a sound business plan rather than give him cash up front, payments could be linked around which league we are in.
I am sure the consortium members are aware of the numbers and whatever they are proposing (and probably wiser and more business savvie than me) they must think they have good viable option to put to DA via AC but as others have said the concern is how what is proposed via AC is put to DA

The woman who used to work for the dodgy childrens' cancer charity.

Is his son-in-law still employed by the club?

Anyone with either A&S Leisure, or the Assay Office, on their CV should be on the possible leavers list, though that possibly does one or two a disservice.

Allen can do what he wants but no one will buy the club without the ground. My hope is that he has had enough and will walk away with nothing or very little but knowing that he will no longer have to put his hand in his pocket. Let’s see but I am sure it will happen quickly as in he will either let it go or dismiss the offer

You know what, if he does he will have my respect if not necessarily thanks.

Hiya

it didn't, directly.

However, a few hours after Phil's post, the DT exclusively revealed that an interested party and AC (on behalf of DA) had a meeting planned for this Friday to open disucssions on a possible sale.

Hmmmm, I wonder how the DT found out..........

Rumours see to be that Allen has had enough. The only problem I see will be if the desire to sell is real or the "tyre kicker" quote is used.

As for who stays? none of them Ass D`s included. Fresh start needed.

Not quite....he sold the club for £1 but Mandaric had to pay £7m to settle debts with the Co-op Bank and some other directors which actually totalled £23m. Separate to this Allen was owed £2.4m in total and turned down an offer of £250,000 initially before finally agreeing to a figure of £1.5m and was one of a few directors that had a clause in their agreement that should the club make it to the Premiership within a certain time period they would be paid in full.

The answer to your last question is they submitted a FOI request to Mr. Bean at his place of work.

If Dave wants say £2M and he agrees to it being paid on the drip, you cannot use funds assigned for that on improving the squad or using it to ease cashflow, if you do, it will end in disaster.

In my opinion, it needs a clean break and that includes not being on Dave's hook when it comes to financing any takeover.

Hmmm.... what is Allen's endgame? Was he trying to sell the bit he didn't want (ie the football side) to what seemed to be a consortium of convenience (Brealey et al) last time around? Will he actually be looking for a clean break this time? Hope so.
These go to eleven.
