Transformed a deadbeat little club, great at PR, used his own money and brought success after success.
Loved by his own teams fans and players - hated by jealous clubs in same league.
I don't think any Town fan should mock him given the clowns we have up in the posh seats do you?

Great at PR...I don't think so, and I can mock who I like, including our own leadership.

Used his own money?
Looking at the Liquidators accounts for one of his failed businesses I think we can presume he used someone else’s. His business’s creditors.

I'd seen the first two stories before but the last one is interesting - paints the picture of a disturbed and confused individual with little grasp of reality.

Still, he'd probably be an improvement on Dave Allen if he fancied a move up here.

He's assistant manager, as well as owner.

Tamplin has now bought Romford and made himself manager

Signed 16 players in his first few days. You wonder what the ordinary Romford fan feels, knowing about Tamplin's past and the outcome for Billericay.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

There are fewer of those than there are Staveley fans so I don’t suppose Tamplin cares.
