Giddings asked a usual journo question about 'how important is it for fans to be behind you when you're on a bad run?'
DS said didn't know what Gids was talking about, they'd just beaten Crewe.
Gids said by DS' own admission they'd just had a poor performance and lost as Rochdale
DS said 'you weren't even there' and seemed to end the interview with some unclear comment.

My only comment is, if you want to be a tetchy, unpredictable manager it's a good idea to make sure your team is playing well enough to back that up.

To be fair Gids said that it was awful midweek and that made DS comment at the end. He really doesn't fill me with any confidence and he sounds very downbeat at the minute, perhaps he has been given an impression from the board on his future?

Hope he can fire the team up with more confidence than he instills in us!

Which is not entirely the full picture of course. Three points off play offs, but also three off a relegation spot. 11 points off top, 8 off bottom. Since the Shrewsbury win, 18th in terms of form. Since the Millwall win, 20th in form.
