I can't...you see, you set such high standards in terms of morality, ethics and personal behaviour, to the point where you have been critical of others, then you reveal/gloat you are a mini-landlord/property millionaire, who, with many others, is partly responsible for the shortage of affordable housing and the escalating cost/rent of housing; sort of sits in my throat somewhat.....

Fair enough I guess. And certainly wasn't gloating as one property is costing me a fortune and can't be sold at present.
Shortage of affordable housing certainly isn't my fault either love. Thatcher shouldn't have sold off council housing and London in particular is full of social housing that is too big for the current tenants.

You're right I have been (I believe) brought up to have personal standards and morals (these include looking after family-hence they live in a property of mine).

Lol don't know Boza at all-better than Beckton I'd imagine though?!

Depends, the new builds in Beckton around ASDA, on the old gas works are pretty decent. Much better than it used to be. Although the older stuff there as you move closer to East Ham/Plaistow is still pretty rubbish

The wimps in boza is a dump, the land that time forgot.

A new hope.

When referring to 'Wimps' is that Haldane Crescent, Hyndley Road Road and around there?

Springfield crescent, Houghton rd, Hyndley rd etc - around the quiet woman pub.

The old coal board estate, on the left as you go up new station rd into boza

A new hope.

1 is a view of the wimps, the other a view of the area before the wimps

Beckton strikes me as alright to be fair. Zone 3 but decentish and relatively cheap.

Little lad is enamoured with "driving" the DLR and because of that we spend an inordinate amount of time in Beckton. We usually end up having a spot of lunch in the Winsor House which is the definition of cheep and cheerful.

Anyway carry on.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

First time I used it, I sat at the front, and thought "hang on, who driving this thing?"

A new hope.

Definitely a guilty pleasure the DLR driving seat.
Beckton just always stinks (it's built on sewage and the plant is there. Full Metal Jacket was filmed there!
The airport is a good couple of hours out by the regatta centre

FMJ was filmed on the old gas works, a huge place producing coal gas for the whole of London, tar, plastics, nylon etc from coal (think coalite in boza ) before it was demolished, cleaned up and built on. The "beckton alps" is all that remains of a slag heap that was once as big as a colliery tip, and not so long ago had a dry ski slope on it!!!
A new hope.

I had a ski there once- was far too short though and after about 3 runs down became very boring!
