Am I right in thinking that the last time we played Peterborough at home on boxing. Day we were 1-0 down at half time and we won 2-1?
I'm sure that it was when we had our "staying up" party when Roy Mac was in charge.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

I remember playing them on Boxing Day, freezing cold, icy pitch which led to Kevin Dvies injuring his groin and being out of a month, and a streaker emerging from the bogs on Cross Street - very brave (or drunk, or both!) chap

Indeed it was, Goals by Marvin Robinson & Glyn Hurst after their 13th minute opened by Richard Logan. There happens to be a player with us today who played in that match, Not hard to guess who.

Crowd for a boxing day fixture 4376. We get disappointed now if we get under 6k for a bog standard league game

Surprised the game even went ahead tbh. It was extremely frosty. Remember it well as my mate was down from Durham Uni for Xmas and he came with me. Can remember my Dad dropping us in town fairly early doors.

It was 0-0 wasn't it? Bone hard pitch and the guy getting his cobblers out was the highlight of the day.

Anyone remember Jamie McMasters goal at Peterborough? Finished off superbly after a string of 7 or 8 one touch passes! One of the best goals I've seen from a Spireite!

Was class, and rightly lauded on soccer am as real madrid like the week after, we were all in white an all

Anybody know if Jones can play? He has missed three games, but it depends if the MK cup game treated as one of the games. Given we are having to replay the game is it now a void game, and not count.

FA website doesn't have him down as suspended anymore so I guess he can play. Should have a good case for an appeal when the FA change their minds in the new year

Best look again on 24th at 5pm

Bit surprised that the game counted as one of his games

Presumably as bookings in the void game haven't been wiped out then they have to class it as one of his missed games? Perhaps someone at the club has checked already as we don't make mistakes

That would infer consistency at the FA :o

I have heard Turner and Cook refer to it so it won't be a surprise

I hope they haven't just relied on the website

Seeing as how they were making it up as they went along rather than applying existing rules, I doubt they even considered the implications. I haven't read that the game and result were expunged from the records, simply that the tie was ordered to be replayed. If this is correct our win stands as do the bookings, spent suspension and armband's goal. But as it is the fa we are talking about anything is possible, I'd expect them to put the goalposts on rollerskates so they could move them if we got a penalty
