Nurse him and get as much money as we possibly can. But I'd be as mad as hell if he went to a local side.

money is money.

I note that Higdon was on the bench this week........looan deal with £0 wage contribution as part of the deal for the season would do me

A new hope.

Higdon looked as mobile as me. Not much point unless we think we can get another Doyle to play off him.

Still on trial I think but I don't think.we'd be able to sign him until the transfer window opens in January

If Doyle is out then we need to go back to 451 with Armand up top. Clucas, Roberts, O'Shea etc should all be able to stick one on his head ala MK Dons. It really should be a time when we back him regardless of what we think of him. It's his chance. If he doesn't deliver then nobody can say he didn't get a shot. If he does then obviously that's great. No point risking Doyle

Is DG injured?

I'd have either Dan or Clucas up front with 3 behind, AG on his own? The other 3 would be pulling their hair out.

Think Gardner is a doubt too. Dont forget jones is suspended too, so if we were to go Clucas in the 3, that would mean Humphreys at left back which is what I'd probably go with, Clucas had his worst game for us last weekend.

He makes Nathan Smith look like an ever present - Gardner is either injured or recovering from injury week in week out.

At one point I was hoping Dan would kick on this season and prove he can actually last 90 minutes in one game - now I wonder if he'll make 90 minutes in one season.

IF and only if Doyle isn't fit, I'd be tempted to play Clucas up front and give Boco a chance, the poor lad hasn't had much game time lately.

Careful you'll get accused of bullying him.
