Now the footy season's over, time to concentrate on the Cricket.

County, club or Country, get 'em in here.

Great start for Derbyshire so far in the 2nd Division, although we probably missed a trick on Saturday against Gloucs after they followed on 180 odd behind. How do you rate our chances this season?

Seems to be more interest in cricket on here than i expected!! Good start to the season by Derbyshire and whilst it was frustrating not to get the win on Saturday, saw some tweets from a few of the players and apparently fielding for 214 overs in one go wasnt much fun, it was a good win v the Unicorns yesterday. Expected to win but did so convincingly.

Personally i played on Saturday and it was bleeding freezing. First time i've played in a game where we've had to come off because of hailstones and it happened twice!! Ended up with a rain effected draw v Aston on Trent in the end so almost worth freezing my bottom off!! Had five layers on at one point whilst on the pavilion watching and was still cold!!

Think it will be the usual from Derbys. Brisk start before fading I'm afraid. Hope not. Success is way overdue

Don't worry the Mighty White Rose will overtake you and retake our rightful place in Division 1! (If we can use Bresnan!)

Not personally played yet this season. Our first two league games were rained off and being en-route to Turkey I missed Saturday's thrashing we gave Shipley Hall seconds.

Thank you! By the way I'm only a Yorkshire man by accident of birth! It could've been worse! My mum was from Newcastle and my Dad was from Derby!

So you could have been from Derbyshire? How is that worse?

On side I've ever played where there seemed to be genuine dislike of each other. I was batting and hit a four where a fielder had moved from and the bowler genuinely threatened to hit him!

Yes but I'd be a County fan, not 'enjoying' myself as a Town fan!

My Dad's from Derby, it hasn't stopped me. You'll never ever hear a Derby fan refer to them as 'County'.

Weather seems worse down south looking at where play actually is today.

I see Kent had a cracking start in Chelmsford. 17/5 earlier after about 12 overs

Being a little negative at least we shouldn't lose now against one of the sides who will fancy finishing above us.

Still a chance of a result if both sides want to try and force one with this forfeiting thing they sometimes do but i suspect they will just try and get as many bonus points as they can from the game now. Normally end of season thing when teams are needing wins that it happens.

I doubt we'll be interested in that. Better still, bowl 'em out for fifty in the morning. Notoriously poor pitches there still.
