The club are re-locating the Coaching Team into the room that previously housed the Media Department, which gives space to integrate the Academy Staff in order so there is no "Them and Us" situation.

The existing floor tiles however are in a poor state and need replacing and the club are wondering if a fan who is in the trade would be prepared to supply and fit some good quality replacement carpet tiles in return for some positive publicity on the club website and/or programme or perhaps lunch with the manager, being able to watch a training session etc or any reward they feel suitable,

The Room Size is approx 8 metres x 6 metres

If you are interested or know someone who is please send an email to Ashley Carson at

ashleycarson@chesterfield-fc.co.uk with your proposal and the club will select the most suitable offer.

We both, and I'm sure others, know of a long-term Town fan with a carpet business who'd be perfect for this kinda gig, 'M'.

However I'm told he was one of those so ill-used by the CFCFDS that he became an early boycotter of this regime.

Classic case of pigeons coming home to roost (pun very much intended), perhaps...

I've got some manky old carpet they can use. I'll even provide a broom so they can sweep all their Bunkum under it.

Money?

I'm sure many could probably have a go, but you need to fit it such that you can lift a corner of it up, to sweep things under.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Are we in that much a mess? We want someone to buy and lay some carpet? We are turning over Millions each year and meant to be a successful football club/business. Any some think we will go and get recognised named players, we can't even afford a £500 carpet.

This is something you'd see for a Sunday league team, it's embarrassing.
Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.

Begging for carpet?

Tell Ashley that he could always try this......https://groups.freecycle.org/group/chesterfieldfreecycle/admin/4061

Or this?

https://en-gb.facebo...InChesterfield/

He could also try putting an advert in the ad-mag aswell. If he wants to make us a complete laughing stock then put it in the Nottingham version.

I'm sure Bob's Boarders would sponsor it if our reward could be a look at the accounts.
