Someone needs to point out that the name 'Chesters' is taken further down Sheffield Road too.

How do you work that one out?

Apparently its applied for a licence to be open from 9am - midnight Monday to Saturday. 9am - 11pm Sundays.
Its supposed to be a sit down restaurant on one side and a take-away the other.

Its a shame cos' many a good night spent in there getting bladdered, getting a lift back home by the milkman. :)
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

That place intrigues me.

What kind of place is that?

Somewhere you would take your mum for Sunday lunch?

He's half right. Autoworld did buy the site.

As for Chesters AKA The Air Raid Shelter? It's dated not an attractive venue frankly!

Yep got to agree, the football fans by-pass it on TM Travel; the away fans don't see it - hope the locals like fish and chips.
Wonder what the xmas special will be.
God I hate this league.

I was in the Crown when we played Orient and I thought the same. Until I realised there were a couple of hundred outside on the back.

I just hope they put plenty of bins up. People walk past my house when going down to the match.

Would you rather it be knocked down and turned into a bland Donkey Derby style production line pub? Or worse still lose another boozer? Its something different and adds a bit of character to the moor.
