Personally an attitude that says 'I'm not happy with second best' is probably the one that makes you a winner. Not going to please all the people all the time. The guy is a maverick, you love or loath what he does/says.

Not impressed, but not mortified either.

I know many sportspeople who don't keep their medals (even gold or winners).
It's the experience not the bit of metal

Was listening to Radio 5 as driving home from holiday yesterday and they interviewed Mourinho pre match. He basically said he didnt really care about the game and if they lost it was probably because Arsenal had started pre season 10 days before them as they wanted their players to have a holiday instead. Just totally dismissive of the whole game and got the excuses in early doors.

Having watched it just the lack of sportsmanship is very much Wenger (as usual)- petty and childish in refusing to shake hands.

Mourhino makes a point of asking every Arsenal players hand at the end of the game.
Wenger- typically no class

why on earth would you shake the hand of someone who constantly insults you? He's called him a specialist in failure and a voyeur, why should he shake his hand? (which is a nonsensical thing to do in football anyway when most of the players spend large periods of the game cheating in order to gain an advantage).
