Apparently he's signing tomorrow - watch this space......

Hopefully this is the start for 2 or 3 more to follow this coming week.... cause Banks and Gardner shouldn't be featuring in the starting 11 from what I've seen this pre-season!

Come on Dean get these deals over the line!

Can't see this happening. Very good news if he is, he's a better player than Roberts.

Same age and would be on more money I'd have thought.
Can't see why we'd be desperate to get Roberts of the wage bill if he's effectively being swapped for Eagles.

Correct. Database has him down as November 1985. Sounds a good signing if we can make it stick

Do you think we would make this type of signing had we moly received £700k plus add ons for SC and £200k for TD?
Turner does deserve some credit for this one.
A new hope.

We are going to bring him on and sell him for over a £1M. It's Chris Turner's model.

His career is on the slide. We will be his parachute. Could do well for us. Pretty direct wide man at his best? Hits the by line?

I've got no issue with a blend of youth and experience. Some players will be here to develop and hopefully sell on at some point in the future (Raglan, Onuwigan, Aribi, etc) and others will be here to provide more experience.

Gary Roberts, who many now think of as a money grabber, was one of our oldest players last season and yet he still grabbed many games by the scruff of the neck and pushed us forward.

I'm hopeful Eagles does sign, I think he'd be a good signing.

Didn't think we were "desperate". Roberts was desperate to play under Cook again on a 3 year deal!

If we are going for a younger model in general, there needs to be some with experience to help the younger ones develop. You'd think that Eagles could not only be a decent player himself, but also help the likes of Gboly to develop.

I was talking to a couple of my mates in the game about him yesterday.....really lost his way over the past two seasons & completely went of the radar. People really rated him in the game, but sounds like he needs a massive kick up that ass again to get him going.

Be a good signing if he does sign.....& 10 times better than Roberts. (No disrespect)
