Highly recommend it.

Whether it interests you or not, sometimes it's best when you say nothing, given the subject matter

Leave him be EEE, he's just a kid who knows no better.

No matter what he thinks the Arboretum is there for all, including people like him.

Near Litchfield, about 50 min drive from town. Stay on the A38 southbound until you see the signs.

Had me reduced to tears a few times as there are a few mates names on the walls but nevertheless a good day out. There's 154 acres so there's lots to see.

You will know the Chesterfield FC Memorial Garden marks the sacrifice of 15 players and a manager who served in the two world wars. This week we add the details of a Director who perished in the First World War. We are also going to add names of casualties linked to a local business.

I am conscious that many of those from central Chesterfield who served and died in the 1914-1918 conflict are not named on any local memorial. If anyone knows of those servicemen we will add them to the south side of the Garden. We will need financial support from families or sponsors to do this but feel there should be local recognition for the Chesterfield residents who gave their all for our freedom.

We are also looking to commemorate William Coffey VC and Thomas Gascoyne within the Garden.
