I'm starting to believe that he's been given a sinister brief to demoralise you. It's just one thing after another.

My take is save a bit of money in case we need it to try and stay in the league

As I said if the summer signings are of low quality that will be the case anyway so why not try to pre empt it by signing better players in the first place?

Because that would be logical.

'The Aussie bid has "too many if and buts" so we won't be proceeding with that. But a straight-up £10m was also not good enough. Hmmm...'

I wonder if one of those 'if's' was summat like ''If' those pesky 'Bob's Board' members don't link your name to this bid, Dennis, it's a thumbs-up'.

The 'but' then being ''But' they've rumbled you...' following questions at the recent fans' forum.

Any team can survive in League 2 regardless of quality if they have a bunch of players that are willing to put a shift in and can stick together and show a bit of fight.

I cant see that happening with you next year. The togetherness spreads from the boardroom downwards.

Im waiting for oddschecker to put up the relegation odds for next season - could be a real money spinner to back a chesterfield relegation.

So I'll upset some on here lol! You talk about the Boardroom time to Stand up Chairman Warner and Director Croot! Either you have took your eye off the ball or you are part of the incompetence that this club has become ! You get defended on here but you sit back and watch it happen! Take some responsibility and apologise!

I suspect we'll get a taste of what's to come in the next few weeks. Key players - proven and obvious improvements ,then fine and will give everyone a lift but if its a nineteen year old from Peterhead then maybe not!

Does our scouting network stretch that far?
These go to eleven.

So a season ticket holder for next season could potential miss out on Scabs away next season to a none season ticket holder Who gets a ticket because they went to today's game or have I misunderstood?

This was a suggestion made by a fan, who initially asked me to make it, I declined as I wasn't in favour, a) in undermines season ticket sales b) the club had an initiative in place, albeit never properly implemented, where fans buying away tickets through the club (who get 5% commission) would earn points that would count in such situations.

No I didn't expect him to drop off the radar, but after everything that happened, surely, surely those at the club must MUST have realised he was toxic. Beyond toxic. I also thought it was £20k sponsorship from the made up royal Pearl thing.
Well either way, this has now made up my mind. I'm joining my brother in his not a penny more to the club. No shirts. No home games. And to think Carson talks about "clean slates"!!!!!
what a see you next Tuesday that man really is.
That sale would really have been Darren brown times 10. I can't remember who said it, but screw this lot. Let it fold, and do a Darlington and start again.

Absolutely outrageous. Just because someone makes the trip to Sheffield they get priority over a season ticket holder. Great PR that Ashley. Anyone wavering will feel very valued. Absolute tosh can't believe someone suggested it!

Attention all Town fans who went to Rammall Lane. If you get a season ticket and manage to get a ticket for the Stain save you stub and give it to a friend or relative to get them priority over everyone else. Well done whoever thought of this Baldrick style cunning plan.

So, a journey to watch a relegated Town side get beat by club we dislike whilst celebrating winning the league is rewarded by...

..a journey to watch us play a club who see such games as their cup final in a non league standard stadium.

And going on current form, to possibly be embarrassed.

Someone's not really thought this through, have they...

AC will need his legal team to look at his tweet. As I read it, it means any ticket from the Sheffield Utd game entitles them to a Mansfield ticket, even the home end tickets, so 31,000 people could have a ticket.
Also why should fans who attended this game just up the road get priority to fans who travelled mid week to away games such as Crewe, Rochdale, Luton, MK Dons, Walsall

Is as bad as when Turner tried to say to Founder Members that they no longer could attend home friendlies as part of the deal etc (until it was challenged and he doomed scuttled back into his shell)
