I see Caldwell is slagging off the club over O'Shea's loan terms and the fact he is allowed to play against us

Was it all down to Turner and Carson? Did any of the benifit from the deal

It certainly suggests he had little say. I wonder if how much he had to do with the rubbish that was brought in to replace O'Shea and others

If he's got any sense he will resign, and maybe have another bash at Wigan.

It would take an absolute miracle worker to make a success of things under these buffoons, and I think GC is some distance from being described as a miracle worker.

There were rumours though that GC did have a few targets, all of whom turned him down, so he then went on recommended players from people like Rowett who he knows for the lads he got in on loan.
A new hope.

I am not impressed with Caldwell at all since coming in but I am totally with him on this O'Shea deal nonsense.

Thank god the game means nothing on Sunday otherwise we could really have been left embarrassed. Imagine O'Shea scored to send us down and them up? Which could have been a scenario.

This is why clowns like Carson who has a bit of money and has done ok in another field but who know nothing about football should not be let near a football club.

I notice that they are not playiing O'Shea according to thier official site

Either they don't realise we could be so stupid to allow him to play or they have more decency than Carson/Turner

Or he's not fit\deemed part of the squad for this weekend? Notice he came off after less than an hour against Port Vale 2 weeks ago and hasnt featured in either of the games since.

We should accept that "these clowns" had accepted relegation before the O'Shea deal and Caldwell's appointment. It suits their/his strategy. Everything said about relegation not being an option should be filed in the over flowing bin of "being seen to be saying the right thing but bo11ocks realy"

Makes you wonder what else Caldwell has had to put up with.

It does, but fair play to him for speaking out more he seems to want the same changes as we do

Yet another example of the incompetence of Chris Turner?
Is he a candidate for our worst employee ever?

Without doubt, although as it's been obvious for a long time you have to question those above him

I honestly can't figure out what they were thinking. Our manager is obviously furious and rightly so.
What kind of reaction did those in charge think would occur? It's a blatant F you and two fingers.
Any reaction on the matter from Carson? Or is he pointing the finger at Turdner?

Just a thought, could it be that CFC are being kind to SUFC in exchange for getting a good sum for Ched because it seems to me
that the fee paid ( if true ) is generous for an injured poor performing striker.
Perhaps they want to keep us going as a feeder club for them ? Perhaps a few more deals to be done.

The man who runs everything, the eyes and ears of DA, the man who's been here since day 1, the man who signs off on every decision made at CFC... is "annoyed and surprised".

If he hadn't turned into a caricature of himself already, this does it.

Continue to plead ignorance, Ashley; we already know you're ignorant.

I'm surprised he hasn't gone for the "shocked and stunned" interview response. But then, nobody does that better than the Rutles...

Press conference at the Proact

As discussed elsewhere there seems to be a tangible attempt being made to blame everything and anything upon the former CEO.

Just as there was in terms of Sutcliffe, Fitzgerald and others who've left the Club for various reasons.

Hell, they couldn't even be straight about why the impeccably behaved Janice Kew is leaving.

But you're right; DA has run CFC via AC, they appointed and stood by these individuals, warnings have been appearing on this messageboard and in the wider media for well over a year yet we're now being told scandals and mismanagement are all a massive surprise to those in charge.

Yeah, right...

PersonaIly I suspect the agreement to allow O'Shea to play has only come about since our relegation has been confirmed.
